The Caracal and the Prehistoric Whales
(Pay no attention to the to-do list upon which this image is drawn, that is just where Anya chose to place this particular work of art)
Pictured here is a family of Caracals, which are also known as the desert lynx. They are wild cats distributed across Africa, central Asia and southwest Asia into India. Caracals are of particular interest to Anya for their jumping prowess and their ability to snatch birds out of the air.
Anyway, here we see the family of caracal’s and a Dalmatian, which was a friend of the caracal family. They were standing on the sea weed looking for baby fish in the water. The prehistoric whales saw their claws poking through the sea weed, and are trying to eat them.
The caracal family (with their Dalmatian friend) are jumping for their lives.
The pre-historic whales are like whales but they have baleen for eating plankton, but really they’re sharks. The daddy whale (lower left) has no teeth, because he doesn’t need them, because he swallows all his food whole.
